Betty,
Interested in this. My great-great-grandmother who was Donoghue married a Domhnall ? Flaherty and they were both from Dingle. Their daughter Catherine was my great-grandmother. My grandfather was born in 1891. He had a brother Patrick who was affectionately called "Patsy" and he emigrated to the U.S.A. I do know that Catherine had a brother Mick Flaherty in Mass., as far as I know it was Holyoke. Well that is where my grandfather's brothers emigrated to. Is it possible that your Flahertys could be connected to my grandfathers family. Were Richard Flaherty and Margaret born in Ireland.
Regards,
Mary
