Chicago 1865

Thomas W. Donahue was born in March 1865 in Chicago to John Donahue and his wife, Elizabeth Raile. On the 1900 census he shows that his parents were born in Ireland. I have read all the censuses for Cook Co IL from 1850 through 1880 trying to find this family without any success. I do not know if this family had other children.

Thomas married Laura Alice Andre (Andrews on the IL marriage record website) in Aug 1894 and by 1900 they were living in Denver, CO.

I have written to the Catholic Archives in Chicago and they cannot be of help without knowing what area of Cook Co the family lived in.

I am hoping that someone has come across info on this family while doing their research.

Thanks, Bettye
