Trying to tie the american Donnally/Donally famiiy with their Britishy Ancestors. Family is said to have orginated in Scotland and immigrated to ireland (Donegal) to colonize it in late 1600 to early 1700s. members of the famiy (high) may have lived in Pendicar Wales and was a glover by trade. Rumor has it that three brothers ssailed for the colonies by way of Holland. The settled in New Castle PA. later moving to augusta Co Va and greenbrier Co, Va now in WVA. Some members of the family later founded the city of Charleston WVa. Some family members settled in Washington, DC. Please share with me your family trees. Lillian Ford Donnally
