Fort Donnally was built by Andrew Donnally.

Other Donnallys which lived in Augusta Co were john, Francis, and Hugh. it appears that if you read the History of Scots/Irish that Hugh Donnally came from Wales and may have with John and Francis come from New Castle PA to Augusta Co. It appears the Donnally went between Wales and Ireland after having left Scotland to Colonize Northern Ireland for King James.

My husband's ancestor is John James Donnally who had a twin brother Thomas. What other info do you have.
