My father Thomas was born in Co.Meath Ireland around the year 1870. one of his sibling's James emigrated to Australia and lived in Casino N.S.W James had a daughter Mary it is then said they went ot live in Melbourne. My father's first wife's name was Jane and he had a daughter Mary they both died around the year 1929,they also had a son Patrick who may have been adopted, Patrick went to live in England/Scotland. My father married Alice Byrne/O'Brien they had five children, three living now in Brisbane and the other two living in Dublin. We resided in Athy Co.Kildare where my father had a shop "The Gem" we then moved to Dublin where my father died in 1949 never leaving any information about the Donegan family with us. The five living children of Thomas and Alice, and their children are the only relative's of the Donegan family we know of. My father also lived in Argintina for a while. My father's mother's name was Nelson. We did have some correspondence from Elliotts in Melborne in the 1940/50s.
My mother Alice died in 1982.
