Hi Carol,

I have no idea where in Ireland my Donegan's came from. That's one of the things I'm trying to find out. According to the info I have, and this is from the censuses, is that they emigrated in 1880 (yet another census says 1877). I have been unable to find them in the 1880 census. I have come to the "possible" conclusion that they did emigrate in 1880 based on the fact that I can find them in neither the 1880 US census nor the 1881 UK census. I'm simply at a loss. I have been unable to find any info on them in any databases of Ireland. If you can help me in any way, I would be extremely grateful. If you need more info, please let me know as I don't remember exactly what I put in my post.
