Hi Olive
Sorry I have only received your e-mail and I have also checked out the genforum notice. I have not been on the lookout as I had no response. I have sent away to Ireland for a birth certificate of my fathers as I did not have a lot of info to go on. My father died when he was 53 and the only info I have my grandparents is I know my grandmothers was a Redmond before she married into the Donegan's and her first name was Sarah. My own mothers name before she married was Mary Bruce from Buckie in Scotland. I came across to Ireland with my family when I was about 2 or 3 which was around 1952 as my grandfather was dying but according to my elder sister he lived for a further 2-4 years. My grandparents farmed I believe from information from my sister around the Mullingar area. I would like to hear any info you might have but unfortunately I can only read your messages if they are not coded.

bye for now
cilla pantling (nee Donegan)
