Did they live in Philadelphia? My Donehowers came from there and settled principally in Philadelphia, Delaware, and Folsom...(Atlantic City). When was Franklin born? Is he tied in with the Donehower branch in Minnesota or with the area where Donehower Sports is? ( Sorry, can't think of area off hand)? If so, I may have info or a tree for you.
Have you logged onto Donehower.com? Larry Donehower runs it. If you can't access it thru Yahoo, try ask.com. That's how I found it. I have been unsucessful in contacting him thru that site, but I have spoken to him before. Nice guy-unable to find a connection tho. I think you might be able to. Got any Census info yet? Got that too. Let me know if I can help.
