Francis Donham: 26th Arkansas Infantry
Posted by: Mark Miller Date: March 11, 2000 at 11:23:43
  of 93

I am researching a soldier who enlisted in the 26th Arkansas Infantry Regiment during the Civil War. He is:

Francis M. Donham Co. C Pvt/Pvt
Enlisted 12 May 1862 at Pine Bluff, Jefferson County, Arkansas; 50 miles from home. Sick in
camp 30 Jun 1862. Granted furlough 2 Sep 1862. Present through Jun 1863. Age listed as 23
on 1860 Jefferson County Census. Born in Mississippi.

I have no genealogical connection to this man but am writing a book on his regiment. Any help in learning his dates/places of birth, death, and burial would be greatly appreciated.
