Hi Luke,

My mother is from Clunscot Co. Longford, Ireland but went to school in Ardaugh. Her mother was Mary Kay Donlon. My grandmother was an only child with a step brother name John. I haven't asked my mother too much about my greatgrandparents, so I'll have to ask her if they had any family that moved to California. My mom did mention once that there was a connection with Argentina, where some family escaped to avoid the famine. If you do a search on the web for Longford and Argentina, you will find that there is a very strong connection. That might lead you in an area you never thought of before!

You can e-mail me if you have anything interesting to share with me...thanks, Teresanne Cossetta
