Martin & Mary Donlon Co.Arrmaugh circa 1840 HELP!

Hello Irish Donlons,

My paternal g-grandmother Celia Donlon was the daughter of Martin and Mary Donlon, who supposedly lived in County Arrmaugh, Ireland. Family lore says that they were Irish Catholics and that Martin Donlon was a sea captain. I don't know if they had any children other than Celia, who was born I assume in Arrmaugh circa 1848-1852 depending on the source. Celia immigrated to the USA in 1882 and eventually settled in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvannia area where she met and married a Benjamin or Bernard Joseph Butler. They had a son in 1889 named Bernard Joseph Butler, there was also a daughter whose name we don't know and it is believed that she died very young. The Butler family operated a small hotel in Pittsburgh, Pa. before coming to the Cleveland, Ohio area about 1916. We have been trying to trace Celia Donlon and her parents in Ireland, any help would be greatly appreciated as we can't seem to get past this brick wall.

Kindest regards,
Pamela
