Hi. I know of an Ann Donlon, born in Ireland, late 1830's or early 1840's. She emigrated to PA (don't know when) and was married to Owen Costello b. late 1830's, Ireland. Owen was a miner around Hazelton. Family lived in Milnesville and Lattimer Mines in Luzerne Co. I'm not sure that all family members lived there. Owen and Ann are shown in the 1870 census (not sure where), they are in the 1880 census for Lattimer, Hazle Twshp.

Same census also shows a Patrick Donlon age 60, living in Lattimer. Many people are listed at this same location, some obviously not related to each other. There is also a Thomas Donlon, age 23 listed. Most in this group were all coal miners.

I have feeling the Donlons might have been scattered around different areas. I have found, so far, less of a solid family group; at least in Hazelton, than I have for some other names I'm researching.

Let me know if any of this is useful. Thanks, Sharon.
