My Grandmother was Bridget Donlon she was born in Sixmile Bridge co Clare around 1890. She migrated to Australia some time between 1900 - 1913 and married Michael King 1914. Her mother was Margaret , I am not sure of her fathers first name as I have found his name on records listed as Michael also Donald. Bridget also had an older sister already living in Australia her name was Mary, Mary also married a Michael King, Michael's parents were Patrick King and Margaret Dodd, All of these Kings, Donlons and Dodds came from Sixmile Bridge County Clare. Not sure if our families are connected but is seems likely, I have been told that the families all lived close to each other in Six Mile Bridge and knew each other well before coming to Australia.
