Am looking for descendants of John M. Donnell (1802-1860) who came to Greene County, Missouri in about 1832 from Wilson County, TN. Children from first marriage to Jane McClain (some say McLean, others say Maxwell) were:
James Monroe Donnell, George Washington Donnell, William M. Donnell, Robert Donnell, Columbus Williamson Donnell, Francis Marion Donnell (he served as sheriff of Greene County as did his father also), Mary Ann Donnell Keppley, Margaret Donnell, Jane Donnell, Caroline Donnell, Sarah Clementine Donnell Armstrong.
John M. Donnell's first wife, Jane, died in 1847 and he married a widow with four children, Jane Wills. They had one son, Winfield S. Donnell. After John's death, Jane married an Alexander. John M.Donnell and both wives are buried in Union Grove Cemetery near Pleasant Hope, MO. Thanks for any information.
