i AM LOOKING FOR ANY INFO ON MY WIDOWED GG GRANDMOTHER Mary E. Donnell, maiden name Wilbur (or wilber or maybe even webber). who was born in 1864, And I believe was living with the Calvin S. winn family in 1870, where a marietta webber age 6 is shown living with the winns. My GG grandfather, Henry Walter Donnell, was a friend of Haven Winn, Son of Calvin s. and worked part time for the winns on there farm, when he wa not lobstering. He drowned in april of 1886 while pulling his lobster pots in. at taapley cove, cape neddick, he is buried on the Donnell property on the ridge rd in york maine, with one other relative. His widowed wife, left there two small children in the care of the calvin s. winn family, and was supose to have gone to Massachussets, but never was heard from again. Would like to know if she re-married, or what happened to her. and if there was a mary e webber (age 6) living with an abigail webber in hallowell, kennebec maine, in the 1870 census .
