Lucy DONNELL m. Theodore SAYWARD York, ME
Posted by: melissa1 (ID *****3873) Date: May 13, 2004 at 15:13:03

I have just discovered that my 5th grt. grandmother's sister Lucy Donnell born 1753 in York, ME married Theodore SAYWARD and that their daughter Susanna born c1786 Georgetown, Maine (where my 6th grt. grandfather Benjamin Donnell lived), married Tristram Robinson SCRIBNER who was b. 1771 in Waterborough, York Co., ME.
Tristram Robinson Scribner is a son of John Scribner and unknown wife. Tristram's sister Mehitable Scribner married Clement MOODY who is the son of my James Moody's (who married Elizabeth DONNELL in Buxton, ME 1774), brother!!
Then, this same Tristram and Mehitable Scribner's grandparents were Edward Scribner and Abigail LEAVITT and Abigail Leavitt was a cousin to James Moody and Clement Moody's mother Mary Leavitt.
Amazing how all these families intermingled and stayed in the same areas.

If anyone has further info on any of these folks I sure would appreciate the help.
Thank You
