I have tracking Mark Hill DUNNELL's family through the census'. He is related to me through my 5th grt. grandmother who was a Dunnell (only her name was spelled DONALD on her marriage record in Buxton, York Co, Maine in Jan. of 1774).

Anyway, I posted info on here once before about Mark Hill Dunnell and posted a link to see a picture of him etc.
Don't know if that link still works or not.

Here is the info I have gathered about him and his children and grandchildren from the census.

Mark Hill DUNNELL b. July 2, 1823 Buxton, York Co., Maine son of Samuel Oresets DUNNELL and Achsah HILL (daughter of Nathaniel Hill), married Nov. 21, 1851 prob. York Co., ME or possibly the Norway, Oxford Co., ME area where he was a Principal of an Academy...or something to that affect...I couldn't make out the abbreviated word preeceding "Academy" in the 1850 Norway, ME census. Mark's residence at the time of their Marriage was listed as Norway, ME and her's as Buxton, ME?? I've not found any Farrington families in Buxton that seem to fit.
Anyway, he married Sarah A. FARRINGTON who was born July 9, 1833 in Maine...parents not yet determined.

Mark Hill Dunnell's son Warren B. Dunnell was in the 1900 Minneapolis, Hennepin Co., MN census dated June 6th living on Aldrich St.
Warren B. DUNNELL b. Aug. 1857 age 48 married 8 years b. ME ME ME - Architect

Mark B. DUNNELL - brother b. June 1865 age 34 single - Lawyer b. ME ME ME
and a Mattie NEWCOMB age 20 single b. Nov. 1879 Iowa VT VT who was a Nurse.
(I found this very interesting because the daughter of my 5th grt. grandmother Elizabeth Donald / Dunnell, married a Newcomb in Buxton, Maine and I found out from the Newcomb genealogy that a lot of the Newcomb's from MA and ME left there for Iowa).

skipping on to the 1930 Minneapolis, MN census
Warren B. DUNNELL age 79 married 45 years b. ME ME ME property value - $20,000 owns home.
Ida A. wife 63 b. Mich. CT NY no jobs...they were prob. retired.

1930 Owatonna, MN - April 8 living on East Main St. (same as in the 1920 Owatonna census)
Mark DUNNELL age 65 single Lawyer with Law Office b. Maine property value $15,000.

In 1920 he was a writer of law books and living on the same street...Mark never married.
Hope this helps some to find their links from MN back to Maine.
