MRS. JAMES DONOVAN
FEBRUARY 13, 1903
On Tuesday afternoon at one o'clock at the family home in Charlotte township occurred the death of Mrs. James Donovan, after a protracted illness with a complication of diseases.
Elizabeth O'Neil was born and raised in Charlotte township, being the daughtr of James and Mary O'Neil, and was 36 years old at the time of her death. Fifteen years ago last October she was united in marriage with James Donovan, son of Mr. and Mrs. P. Donovan of this city, and they had since resided in this vicinity. Besides her bereaved husband Mrs. Donovan leaves to mourn her early demise, three sons and three daughters, Harold, Mary, Nellie, James, Alice and Willie, her mother, who resides in Chicago, and four sisters, Mrs. Alice Fox, of Ottawa, and Misses Alice, Kate and Martha O'Neil, also of Chicago. The funeral was held on Thursday morning at ten o'clock at SS. Peter and Paul's church, Rev. J.J. Quinn officiating, and the remains were laid to rest in St. Patrick's cemetery.
