Hello:

Helen is my Mother's "Cousin Helen". :-)
I have turned my attention to researching my Mother's "Morgan and Doolan" lines. Your Doolan doesn't sound directly like my Doolan. However, I noticed on the St. Louis 1860 census that there were at least two Doolan families living either together or right next to each other. Maybe they are cousins. That is certainly possible. Since Richard Doolan indicates on Louisiana census' that he was born in St. Louis but his parents were born in Ireland -- maybe these cousins came over together.
