Hi Caz,

I just spoke to my mum and she thinks your dad might be Frank Doolan's brother. Have you got an aunt Lorna? I met Frank quite a few times. He and Terese McGrath put together a Doolan family history book, have you got a copy of these, I think there are 2. My brother is bringing them down to me over the weekend. They have a lot of info. Your grandfather and my greatgrandfather (James) were brothers we think.

Anyway I would be interested in exploring some of the details as a lot of the geneology work was done before the internet and there is probably a lot more info available now. I'm also going to do the Natgeo genome project this year and give a DNA sample to get some more info on the family heritage. I'm trying to get one of my brothers to do it also so we can track our paternal line.

Will email soon,

Kind regards,
