Thanks for the reply James.
Unfortunately part of the problem is not knowing if Charleville is the original place my grandparents would have come from. It is possible they originated in another town or village. My grandmothers maiden name was Katie Best and she married Daniel Doolan my father the youngest of seven sons was born c1899. If this info is of any use please pass it on.
