I just stumbled onto this forum (while ego surfing). My family is from the Southern Illinois branch of the family, but my parents migrated east after WWII. My father was Orville Kell Doolen from Vernon, IL. His brother Ryman stayed in Vernon. My grandfather's name was also Orville. I haven't seen them mentioned in the forum, so this may be a little new. I believe I have more info in a box in the garage, but I'm going to have to wait until my children move their messes out to find it. If I can be of help, let me know.
Mike Doolen
