Daniel Doolen Sr. was my great, great, great great grandfather (??). My grandmother, who is still living, was the daughter of Icy Dora Doolen Garrett, whose father was Benjamin Doolen. I believe he's the great grandson of Daniel Doolen, who came here from Ireland in about 1765. My family is from Southern Illinois (Kinmundy/Salem).
