Is it possible that Nancy Doolen and Elizabeth Doolen are two different people?
Elizabeth married the Helms. My Nancy married David Belew. They are on the 1850 census of Ripley County, Missouri. All of their children are born in Illinois except the last one. David Belew is on the 1830 census near Mary Bridges Doolin and on the 1840 census all of Fayette County, Illinois.
The 1850 census shows the eldest child of David and Nancy as Rachel born about 1828.
The other children are Daniel, Malinda, Terry David, William, Sarah, Nedom Burket, Martha, and Jesse.
