Where Do I fit in here?

I have some papers that have been passed to me and it would appear that I am related to the Doolittles. My grandmothers
sister was a member of the Mayflower Society and in reviewing the papers I have found a letter from Jimmy Doolittle. It appears that my grandmothers father's mother was a Doolittle. Eliza R Doolittle born in 1837 at Wyoming Co NY she married Samuel Nathaniel Brown on Oct 4th 1859.
This was my Grandparents wedding day and mine also It would appear that every other generation has married on the same day. 1859,1935,and 1980. I am curious to find out if this letter I have is from General Jimmy Doolittle.
Any response with info would be greatly appreciated
