Middletown Vital Record from Barbour, 1668-1852 have the following records:

Ebenezer Cotton and Huldah Aspenwel of Kensington married on Oct 9, 1740

Oliver, son of Ebenezer and Huldah b. July 26, 1741
Oliver, son of Ebenezer and Huldah d. Dec 2, 1741
Oliver, son of Ebenezer and Huldah b. Jan 27, 1746/47

(Note: The correct spelling may be Huldah Aspinwall)

One of the records of the Cromwell Congretational Church, formerly the 2nd Church of Middletown, is as follows:

Oliver Cotton and Elizabeth Doolittle married May 1773 by Rev Edward Eells.

This Elizabeth Doolittle was the daughter of Nathaniel Doolittle and Hannah Foster.

Is this Oliver Cotton, who was born in 1746/47, the same Oliver Cotton who married Elizabeth Doolittle?
