Thank you Ed for your response. I am not directly related to the Doolittles. The boys mother Lucy Rogers, was my great great grandaunt. I was surprised that one of the boys married a Lucy Rogers. I was hoping to find out more about the Rogers' by learning more about the Doolittles. Someone may have some information on Lucy's grandparents. I have good information and documentation on the Rogers. Lucy's father's name was Reuel by the way. Lucy also had a brother named Chauncey. Chauncey was a traditional family name as Lucy's brother Newton had a son named Chauncey and he happened to be my great grandfather. I don't get the chance to visit this site often, so just saw your reply. I would appreciate knowing more and am willing to share information. Also if there are any of Lucy's and James' descendants who want to get in touch, please have them do so. Again thanks for your reply.
