Polly Alden and Mr. Dollittle family of Pennsylvania(1850?)
Posted by: Barbara Cady (ID *****6686) Date: February 27, 2005 at 06:31:41

I found on the net that David Alden and Polly Smith
had a daughter, Polly, who married a Mr. Doolittle.
The source listed: Alice(Stoors), Jane(Brown), Sarah(Farrier), Mary (Fuller), Clara(Bennett).

The 1850 census of Pennsylvania shows and Edward
Doolittle (age 46 CT), Polly (36 CT), and children
born in PA.: Jane (15), Sarah(12), Clarissa(11),
Mary (1).

In the 1860 census I did locate a Lyman Doolittle
age 46, Polly 36, daughters: Alice 8 PA and Mary 10 PA.

The two daughters would match the ages, but parents are off.
Can anyone tell me more about the family of Polly
Alden who was the daughter of David Alden and Polly
Smith?
