I am looking for information on ALL persons descended through Daniel (Abraham-Abraham-Abraham-Hezikiah-Frederick) Doolittle and Elizabeth Sutherland. I know that they had five children, as follows:
1 Angeline Doolittle, 1809-?;
2 Talmadge F. Doolittle, 1811-?;
3 William S. Doolittle, 1814-?;
4 Daniel H. Doolittle, 1819-?; &
5 Asa Walter Doolittle, 1824-1892.
I am descended through Asa Walter and have a comprehensive tree for most of his descendants; however, I have only limited information on his older siblings and their respective descendants.
I know that all or most of his siblings, along with he himself, are buried in the cemetery in Medusa, Albany County, New York, and that the clan once lived in that vicinity.
I also know that they often spelled the surname as Doolitell for some reason.
I know that Talmadge and William had several children, and I suspect that many of their descendants still reside in the area.
There is also a chance that this branch of the Doolittles had two or more siblings marry into the Mackey family, through whom I am also descended.
Any info would be greatly appreciated!
