As you probably already know, the Lathrop Genealogy is The Gold Mine of genealogies, as it purports to go back to William the Conqueror and, through his wife, further, to Charlemagne. Tapping into that genealogy would be a dream come true for just about anyone. However, unless I can find rock solid evidence of a connection - and I can't for the time being - I shall just have to keep looking.
I do note that the names of William Tyler's and Mary Lathrop's children are eerily similar to those of the names of Hepzibah Tyler's and Hezekiah Doolittle's children, with four names being exact copies, making me suspect that this is more than mere coincidence. Also, there is the Wallingford connection. Still, with the Lathrop Genealogy being so utterly comprehensive, one would suspect that if Hepzibah Tyler was a descendant, she would be listed.
Hmmmmm. I can't make any sense of it.
