Edward,
My Aunt is still living that remembers Jim Doolittle and his mother. At the time, she lived in Tehama Co, Ca around Red Bluff. My G Grandmother had been married to John Ryan and divorced. My Aunt says he later married Rose Doolittle and she was a lovely, kind, lady. Rose divorced John Ryan also. I can't find any records of them.
Dian
