I have visited Ona & seen where the boy scouts have relocated stones upturned by development. I'm very interested in this family as I have not been able to follow the line back to Abraham Doolittle the founding father of most Doolittles in North America. The father of Ambrose was Luther Doolittle born in NY. It was he that traveled west to Ohio & then into West Virginia. The mill on Mud Creek is interesting. Thanks for making that material available, I hope someone can shed light on this family.
