Doolittle/Merriman- CT-Randolph Twp, Portage Co. Ohio

Harlow (b 1820 Ohio) & Nancy (Doolittle) Merriman (1817 CT), did not have twins, Burse was their child, Brice/Verus was the child of Harlow & Nancy's siblings that died before the 1850 Census. Harlow & Nancy had a daughter that was 2 years older than Burse, but had also died before the 1850 census. Job Doolittle, who was listed with them in the 1850 Dekalb county Census, I strongly feel was Nancy's youngest brother. By 1860, he was in Wisconsin, and has yet to be found in the 1870 census. I believe the father was Luther Doolittle, and believe that Luther was somehow related to Ransom Doolittle. Any help would be appreciated.
