Thank you for the information. I have pretty much the same information as you have.

We both show Ambrose Doolittle b. 20 Jan 1800. I don't think Martin Luther could be born in 1811 and possibly Lydia in 1816. I show Ambrose Doolittle and Sarah Brown married 26 Jul 1821 Cabell Co WV. This came off the Internet, so it may be incorrect.

Amanda is my stepdaughter's ancestor and the reason I am tracing this line. If I am correct and she died before 1880, and Henry Clay Poteet died in 1906, did they divorce, since she also married Armistead B. Howell?

Thank you so much for Sarah Brown's parents and information on Ambrose's siblings.

All my stepdaughter's other ancestors stayed in Virginia or south. This is the only line from the north.
