Looking for info on Elihu Doolittle from Scott Twp, Wayne Co. PA prior to 1850.
At that time he was married to Celia (maiden name unknown)with 5 children: Sarah A.,Thomas M., Olive M.,Electa M.and Emily L.
He moved his family to Scott County, Iowa except Thomas M. who got married and stayed in PA.
By 1860 he was married to Cynthia Peoples, on 12 Oct 1854,she was born 1832 in Virginia. They had 3 children, John, George and Albert. Married in Scott CO. Iowa
Elihu was living with his youngest daughter Emma Nebergall when he died on 3 Dec 1891. He is buried in a Nebergall lot in Bluegrass, Iowa. I don't know what happened to either wife and have conflicting birth places for him, PA,NY or CONN. Help Please!!!!
