Franco I hope you read this message which I note is about 5 years old.
My daughter Lucy alerted me to the fact that you are from Montenerodomo and looking for D'Orazio family contacts.
My mother Anna D'Orazio was born in Montenerodomo in 1932 and migrated here to the West Coast of Australia (Perth) with her family in 1938. My grandfather Antonio and his wife Carmella (Di Sciullo) had five children. The three oldest Donnato, Nicolo and my mther Anna were born in the village. Two others were born here in Western Australia Maria and Angelina. All except for Angelina (my aunt Angie) are deceased.
My mother married my father John Raymond Donovan in 1949 and I (also John) was born in 1951. I have a sister Janette (born 1952) who lives in Melbourne and has four children and also a brother Alan who sadly passed away last year aged 52.
My wife's name is Elizabeth (Davies) and we have two children Lucy 22 nd benjamin 25.
I have many relatives here in the West because I understand many people from Montenerodomo migrated to Perth before, during and after the war.
It is likely we are related as it is a very small village in Chieti which I finally visited in 2004.
My phone number in Australia is 61-8-93397412.

Kind regards

John (D'Orazio) Donovan
