Dear Roger: There were many Corneliuses in the Doremus family ancestry. The only Cornelius I find in my family coinciding with your dates ia a Cornelius Doremus 1784 - 1825 who married Ann VanNess. I have a Cornelis Doremus who died in 1714, married twice to Juannan Van Burson and Janetje Joris. He was the son of Henrick Doremus 1650 - 1715 who was the first Doremus in my family to come to America and settle in NJ. He had a son with Janetje Joris named Cornelis 1710 - 1788 who married Rachel Pieterse. Another Cornelis Doremus 1714 ----who was the son of Thomas Doremus 1687 ----- and Anneke Ackermans. They were married in 1712 and had a son Cornelis Doremus 1714---- who married Antje Yong----1803. Wish I could be of more help. I have the book Doremus Genealogy by William Nelson and when I get time I will look through it to see if I can find reference to your names.
