Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
I am not sure what became of the second set of children, but I did find Sarah J. Wilcox's headstone today. It is located in the Doremus family burial ground in Parsippany, NJ. The stone is broken, laying on the ground, and almost unreadable as the marble has eroded over time. About all you can read is the name, and that is very worn. The only other stones readable there that I found were her mother-in-law's, Jane Vreeland, her brother-in-law's, John Doremus, and her husband's uncle, John A. Doremus. The rest of the stones are missing are far as I can see. I am going to attempt to clean up this cemetery come Spring, and will let you know if I find anything further under the years of leaves and plant growth.
