We have always been told by our local
genology society that we are from a part of France which is called Montbilard came here in 1753 on the ship The Betty as part of an English effort to settle Lunenburg
The fact that there are Doreys in your area who consider themselfs to be part of the Acadian culture fasinates me.
I would like nothing better than to find out that I have roots in the Acadian past I have always felt so at home when I am around the
Acadian people maybe its just because of the
hospitality.
