Looking for any connection to Dore'
My Dore/Dorey family starts with -
Louis Dore dit Brindamour was born 16 Dec 1724 at Notre-Dame, Versailles, and he was the son of Louis Dore and Anne Sylvestre. He was a grenadier in the Berry regiment that arrived in Canada in 1757 and fought under General Montcalm in the War of Seven Years which some call the French-Indian War. Through
His son Antione Dore' b. July 8, 1766 St Ours, Quebec - Canada
His son Louis Dore' b. July 23, 1798 Canada East - Quebec
His son Louis Dore' b. August 16, 1829 St Polycarpe, Salanges, Quebec - Canada
His son Louis Dore' b. October 1, 1858 Canada West - Ontario

The last Louis changed it to "Dorey" in or around 1878 Sprague, Connecticut or 1880's Lincoln, Nebraska - Lancaster Co.
