I am a Dorset Dorey and I had not realised Doreys went to Canada before 1900. I am daughter of Edward William Joseph Dorey born September 20th 1917 married Pearl Childs and died Dec 1997. His father was Edward Noel Dorey who died in Palestine Dec 1917 born 1890 and my father's grandfather I think was William Richard Dorey, born July 21st 1850, married to Caroline.

Was it his siblings who went to Canada?
