My information is different from yours. Here is what I have.
Nelson (Narcisse) Dorey born unknown, married in 4-22-1880, 5-3-1885 then married Georgiana Robert on 5-24-1898. Georgiana was born in Canada in 1874 (mother Mary Duquette father David Robert). They married in Winooski Vt on May 24, 1898.
They had 2 children.
1. Georgianna "Joy" Dorey born 4-24-1899 in Winooski VT (not Jay, New York) and
2. Evelyn Mary Dorey born 6-24-1901 in WInooski VT. Evelyn married 7-10-1922 in WInooski VT to Louis Napoleon Carriere (Carrier), who died in APril 1973. Child is listed as Lolita J. Carrier who married Gordon A. Anger Jr. with no children listed.
Georgianna married 8-11-1919 in Winooski VT, died Dec. 27, 1994 and was buried Dec. 30, 1994 in Winooski VT.
Eli is listed as born 12-8-1919 in WInooski and died 1953 in WInooski, (father A.B. Lavigne).
Children were Robert E. Lavigne married to Estaleen "Susie" R. Guyette, Minerva G. Lavigne, born 12-23-1921 and married 8-18-1941 to Donald L. Sweeney and Lorita "Tootsie" Lavigne born in 1933 married to Harry Daniels. Sometimes stillborns are not recorded as well in births; I only have 3 children not five.
No children listed for Robert or Lorita.
For Minerva and Donald Sweeney lists children William married to Sharon, Donna married to Bill Scott, Patricia maried to Thomas Racine and Susan maried to Frank Lucier, dec. before 1996. If you are one of their children we are fourth cousins(Alex to Alexander (Nelsons brother) to Loius to Arthur Sr. To Raymond to me And Alex to Nelson to Georgianna to Minerva to a Sweeney to theer children- if you're somewhere else you'll have to figure it out!)
This data came from some Mormons. My husband's friend believed his birth name to be Dore, so he had this colledted for us by Leo Fleury in VT at Lfleury@prodigy.net.
I have a xerox death notice for Nelson Dorey, aged 65, from June 15, 1927 Winooski paper stating that he died at 11:15 of heart trouble; remains taken to daughter Mrs. Eli Lavigne at 15 Hood St., survived by 2 daughters from Winooski (listed as one, corrected later) and one son Funeral "THursday morning at St. Francis Xavier church with burial at St. Francis cemetary." The son is listed as Edward J. DOrey of Burlington. Edward was from previous marriage (Nelson married Mathilde Plant in 1885 – child
Edward (Joseph Edouard)).
