Hi Terry,
It sure looks as though your Maurice Darigan, born c 1815 could be a brother to my John Dorgan born 1816, James Dargon born c. 1820, and William Dorgan born c. 1822.The names Julia, Nora (Hannah), Maurice, William all repeat in my John's Dorgan's son James (1844) children.
John, James and William came over in 1858 and settled in Sibley Co. MN.In 1860 all three show up with their families in New Auburn, SIbley Co., then James and wife Susan and William disappear after 1860.Don't know what happened to them.John and family stayed in Sibley County. He died in Jessenland in 1898, and his sons James Dorgan born 1844 and Denis DORGAN born 1848 lived near Silver Lake, Sibley Co.Denis moved to Grand Forks ND and lived out his life there.
My DORGAN line was spelled DARGAN, DARGIN, DORGIN, DARIGAN, DARGON just in MN alone. My line is also supposed to be from County Cork, and Cork City before they came over to the US in 1858.
