News, Goshen, Elkhart Co, IN, Tue 24 June 1986, p7:2;
Gerald F. DORIOT, 80 y, 29200 Co. Rd 20, Elkhart, died Monday in Elkhart General Hospital. He had been ill 2 years. Born 30 Jan 1906, in Wakarusa, he was a liftime resident. In 1941 he was married to Frances BROWN, who survives. He retired in 1968 following 34 years of employment with Indiana and Michigan Electric Co. as a store keeper, was a member of the Jamestown United Methodist Church, and Kane Masonic Lodge Free and Accepted Masons. Also surviving are 1 sister Hollis WALLACE, New Carlisle, and nieces and nephews. Friends may call Wednesday at the White Funeral Home where services will be held Thursday. The Rev. Don Wilks will officiate at the service. Burial will be in Olive Cemetery.
