Hi,
I have been collating information on my forebears who originate from County Down, my Great Great Great Grandparents were Adair Dornan and Jane Dornan (McCauley or McInally)they had at least 3 sons Patrick, William and Adair Jnr, William is my great great grandfather he married Sarah Dornan (her own name was Dornan) and her parents were Richard and Rose Ann (Cricket) I have established that the families came from Killyleagh, Crossgar, Inch and Cargagh. Some of their children left Ireland and came over to Scotland and some went to USA. I have traced back to early 1800's but finding it dificult to gain more information. I have a site on My Heritage.com (the Dornan family tree Scotland, if you want to have a look and see if you can link anyone just let me know and I will Invite you onto the site.
Regards,
Peter Dornan
