I just ran across your Dornberger message. I too am a descendant but I am from Lewis Dearnbarger (different spelling) He was from Franklin Co., Pa. His Civil War Records gives that information. He came to Muskingum County, Ohio and had the following children: Nicholas, George, Thomas, Robert, and Margaret. Margaret was my great grandmother. Part of them went on to Illinois and there are still some in that area.

I am interested in finding out more about the family.
