Some of you may be familiar with the book "Descendants of Abner B. Dorough," by Thomas A. Dorrough, Jr. (Revised 1997 is most recent edition). Tom spent many years working on this book before he passed away. It is an incredible piece of work, and extremely valuable to so many of us in the family. In the subsequent years, because there was a limited printing and limited number of books available, there have not been enough books to go around.
We have scanned Tom's 1997 book into PDF format. It is now freely available to those of us who continue to research the Dorrough/Dorough family lines. It is a great honor to Tom, that his very hard work continues to be so useful and sought after to so many of us who descend from Abner B. Dorough.
If you would like a copy of this book (electronically), please contact me. You will need the Adobe Reader software to view the book on your computer (this software is available for free), or you can take a copy of the file on CD to your local print shop and have a copy printed for you.
