Anyone related to Joseph Thomas Dorough and Louisa Speer from Harris County Georgia? I am descended through their daughter Sarah Fannie Dorough. Joseph Thomas Dorough was listed as Nurse in civil War 54th Georgia Regiment (Infantry) I am told he was a Doctor, but this is the only info I have found listing him as a medical person. His son George Dixon Dorough graduated from Atlanta School of Medicine (now Emory University in Atlanta) as well as one more relative. Genforum will notify me when anyone replies to this message.
