CSM Alfred Dorricott MC

I would be very interested to hear from anybody who can give me any information on CSM Alfred Dorricott MC, 2nd Btn Middlesex Regt, killed in action on the 1st July 1916 during the battle of the Somme. He was married at the time to Beatrice A Dorricott, who I think remarried and became Hall. She is given at living at 304 Mount Pleasant Road Tottenham London, on the CWGC website. Alfred is listed as being gazetted for his Military Cross on the 22/09/1916. So I am persuming that it was awarded posthumourosly. Can anybody give me any more information on this man?
