Just saw your post re. Alfred Dorricott. He has recently come up in my research. He married Beatrice Annie Penny in Charlton All Saints Nr. Salisbury 25/12/09. Witnesses were her sister Alma and brother Allan Penny. He, I, believe, also a career soldier in the Wilts Regt. and went on to be killed in WW1. As far as I can tell they had no children. I think, due to the witnesses, it was not a marriage areed to by her parents. I can tell you he lists his father as Edward, a carpenter, and his own birth as in Limehouse, London, Middx.
